Hi, I’m Danielle.
I’m a South Lake Tahoe local, a lifelong host, and the founder of Alpine Gathering Co. What started as a love for hosting — wine nights, holiday dinners, baby showers, backyard birthdays — slowly turned into something more. Over the years, I built up not just an inventory of beautiful pieces, but an instinct for what makes a gathering feel thoughtful, welcoming, and elevated.
Alpine Gathering Co. grew from that instinct — and from the belief that celebrations should feel special without feeling overwhelming.
How Alpine Gathering Co. came to be
Alpine Gathering Co. wasn’t created in a boardroom. It evolved naturally from years of hosting, collecting, refining, and learning what truly makes a celebration work.
At some point, I looked around and realized I had more than just décor — I had systems, experience, and a clear aesthetic. And living in Tahoe, I saw how many people were celebrating birthdays, bachelorettes, anniversaries, and milestone weekends without access to elevated rentals designed specifically for smaller events.
Most rental companies here are built around weddings. Alpine Gathering Co. was built for everything else — the cabin birthdays, the holiday dinners, the girls’ weekends, the “just because” gatherings that still deserve to feel beautiful.

A few things about me
I’ve hosted more gatherings than I can count — birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, wine tastings, holiday dinners, football Sundays, and everything in between.
I understand the rhythm of a good event. I know where the bar should go. I know how many platters you actually need. I know how to make a space feel warm and intentional without overcomplicating it.
Most importantly, I believe the host should enjoy the party, not spend the entire evening managing it.
